Newline Design question
« on: April 11, 2019, 02:47:21 PM »
I've just come across the Newline Design 20mm range for the Old West and Little Big Horn. They look really nice and I've been interested in this scale for a while.

Does anybody know if they would fit at all with the two equivalent Blue Moon ranges? I know they're listed as 15mm but every time I've read about them the comment is always that they're closer to 20mm.

I'm exclusively a 10mm gamer, so can only help indirectly, but I've found their 10mm range fit in excellently with Pendraken, Baggage Train, and Steve Barber figures, are slightly larger than Magister Militum (but still fit in well), and do rather show up the shortcomings of the often flimsy and ill-proportioned Irregular Miniatures and Adler ranges.
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

I have had Newline Napoleonics in 20mm and think they are a bit bigger than Blue Moon, Long time sine I had any BM and they are bigger than 15mm but not as big as 20mm, maybe worth buying a pack just to see them in the flesh. :)

That's disappointing. Any opinion on which one would be the better bet for two complete forces? Or just which is the nicer range?
