Like many others I’ve been waiting many many years for a quality and comprehensive Vietnam War range. By the looks of it my patience is finally going to rewarded. On top of all this the range released by Empress Miniatures is being sculpted by one of my all time favourite sculpters and top chum Mr Paul Hicks!
I’ve painted quite literally hundreds of his Indochina War figures for myself and friends around the globe.
So I know whatever he’ll come up with for this it’s gonna be epic
(No pressure 😉).
Consequently my first stop at Salute was the Empress stall and I collected my preordered figures...and came back for more after I had the chance to look at them more closely 😬
I obviously couldn’t help myself and painted the first mini the same night.

I now have to restrict myself to one mini per day so I won’t run out to quickly. Thankfully it’s only gonna be a couple of weeks or so before reinforcements can be ordered (much to the delight of the Missus):
I will try to update this as much as I can and I hope this will end up in a fairly long thread 😎
