15mm German Grenadiers

Figures are Battlefront but I will use them for Bolt Action:

uhm,

why you need to say this like it is a shame? Of course only a Battlefront representative will pretend  that you use their figures only for FoW, or, conversely a WG representative will tell you that you can do Bolt Action only in 28mm with their figures...  and probably not even all of their representatives!

Nice work   :D

Lol..that’s just because folks are usually asking why they are on single and not multi bases.
I use my figures for whatever system suits me, no problem here  ;)

Great work. Figures are "readable" (wich is the most important thing in small scale, in my opinion) and painting technic is top notch.

Agree - there's no shame ;)

Excellent painting on these - so much character.

Nice painting.

Will you be using Imperial or metric measurement?

Guess I’ll decide this as and when
I’m actually gonna play it in 15mm, i e when I’ve got an army. So far we’ve used imperial by default.

The advantage of metric (in gaming) is you get a much bigger "area" to play with, Imperial you get more "realistic" space. Two foot by two foot translates to 1500x1500 with metric.

Not sure how second edition templates translate, as you would need 10mm diameter bases for the figures.

These look fantastic - I really like your painting style, it suits 15mm really well.

This is how I play all my 15mm - I really like small boards, so even a 30cm square becomes over a 2x2 if you swap inces for CMs in a ruleset.
