Couple of days to post and a couple of days to deliver. Sometimes it’s shorter :)

I had watched this thread ages ago but I have re-visited it as I thought there was mention of air conditioner units of that period. Now I can't find any reference to them, does someone have suggestions for such units, please?
I am using Crooked Dice ones.

Just a minor point for those who live in cooler climes and maybe unfamiliar with older AC units There has to be a hole in the wall for those units to cool the inside of the building. Typically, it’s the size of the AC unit itself. So if you are hanging one off a wall by the wires, the hole should be visible. In South America, the older ones often have an external support as they protrude well beyond the exterior surface of the wall. None of this fancy pants split system nonsense.  Something that rattles the walls and makes a god awful racket is the ticket. That and a ceiling fan.

If you are looking for some larger, modern, buildings that might not look out of place in Vietnam or Aden or pretty much anywhere look at the Knights of Dice apartments in their Tabula Rasa range. I reckon there’s a couple there that would make great consular compound buildings and even airport terminals.

Thanks Carlos, I will get the drill out ^__^.
Yes, the only ones I have encountered have the cooler out side and a coolant pipe leading to the an unit inside.
