Beautiful paint job, but ironically that group photo actually puts me off of buying the mini ....  :?

The horse armour looks odd, and the shield looks daft ...my main gripe with the CMON range is that the sculpts look like they were designed to purely appeal to Warhammer players (and who knows maybe they were and perhaps that is a sensible strategy given the success of the range).

I might just opt for the Darksword version, or get the foot figure and replace the oversized shield.

None of which is meant to take away from the painting, which as I said at the outset is excellent.

 :)

The cast iron shields are a bit to clunky and have that overaccentuated detail which make them look like they been pulled from the grill of a tractor.

Any chance you do a comparison between the mountain from darksword and Cmon and Perry/fireforge 28mm figures? I'd love to have a mountain figure for my Lannisters but he just looks too big (especially the mounted version)

Great additions - love the way you’ve finished the cloaks in particular.

Thanks, these aren't quite to my rackham standards, but they are done to a good tabletop standard IMO. I'm having fun with them. I have almost all of the expansions now.... so many to get through!!

Looking good. Your basing on the unit trays looks very good as well. What are you working on next?

Nice work! I like the colour scheme you've got going on the Lannister banners with the pale yellow, it contrasts really well!

And agreed with Gallahad, your basing is really top notch!

Grey wind... I'm working through the mountains men right now, but I wanted to knock him out to test my basing for the starks... rugged northland look with some snow... nights watch will be more snow, and wildlings completely snow. .

Very effective looking, with the combo of different vegetation heights etc
