German East African Steam Engine
« on: June 16, 2009, 12:54:29 PM »
For those who might be interested a small steam engine from the East african Colonies is preserved in the Deutches Technical Museum in Berlin.  Apologies for picture quality - they were taken on my phone.

They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

lol That's one description I wouldn't have thought to use! My apologies, but when I think of German East Africa, those are the first two names I think of.

From now on, you are a trio  ;)

The Deutsches Historisches Museum is well worth a visit too. As my better half lives there I shall no doubt visit it again.
