Cornwallis' Flank Attack at the Brandywine, 1777
« on: April 23, 2019, 09:48:17 PM »
Today on my blog, I'm looking at a refight we did of Cornwallis' attempted flank attack on Washington's Army at the Brandywine River in 1777.  Played in 28mm and with 'British Grenadier!' rules:

Lovely collection.  Older game?  Have the needed troops that used stand-ins at the time?

Cheers!  Yes, my mate Martin has since filled in the 2nd Light Battalion and 2nd Grenadier Battalion, while I've done the 42nd Highlanders (God, the tartan...  :( ), as well as plenty of other bits and pieces.  Jase emigrated to New Zealand, but kindly left his AWI figures with me.  :D
