Nice work, thanks for putting in the effort, good reports.

I recently bought Erehwon and have enjoyed a few games of that, it has that granularity you mentioned and plays quite a lot like WHFB of old, though more streamlined, more random and loads more fun.

Still, even though my Erehwon book still has that new smell, I think I will get the Saga stuff too. Already got the rules and vikings so it's not too much of a wallet hit to get the AoM. Are the cards printed out yourself or did you buy them?

Thanks. I bought the cards from Gripping Beast, but it would be easy enough to print them out yourself from the pdfs on Studio Tomahawk's site.

Thank you for this interesting report!

I am still waiting for the rulebook to arrive but am preparing a Great Kingdom Army (style being strongly inspired by the Empire of WHFB) and was happy to find some written down experiences with the game.

Very much looking forward to playing AoM!
