Amazing work as usual… but, just to be peaky, didn’t the Bavarian artillerymen had dark blue trousers ::)

The regulation dress for Bavarian artillery was dark blue breeches worn with black gaiters but on campaign these were frequently replaced with non-regulation trousers made of locally available material (usually hard-wearing white/off-white, light grey or beige cloth or linen depending on what was available) :

Rafa's ragamuffin gunners look very good as they are  :)

There are two paintings showing Bavarian artillery in action at the 1st Polotsk battle in August 1812, one by Kobell (which also shows Deroy being carried from the field after being mortally wounded) which shows the crews all in white trousers, but officers (and what looks like senior NCOs) in dark blue, the other by Gottlieb Bauer, which features on the jacket cover of "A soldier for Napoleon" about an officer in the 7th Bavarian Infantry, which shows a much greater variety of dress.  Alan Perry told me that he used the latter when designing his Bavarian artillery crews, hence the mix of clothing (including greatcoats and shirtsleeves) and trouser colours in the demo pics on the Perry website, which it looks like RAFA has used for inspiration.  Links are below, but both paintings are a lot bigger than shown on-line:-

Thanks for the information. I didn’t want to sound like I was criticizing the work done by Archiduque.

That’s some amazing painting skills!  :-* 8) :-*
