Looks awesome. Coincidentally, I am working on a rules set of my own (called Cosmic Horror) which focuses purely on Cthulhu gaming (see this link for the cover art by Melvin de Voor). I hope Mike and I aren't doing the same thing at the same time

Breten: I'm looking forward to Strange Aeons, can't wait for it's release. Was fun seeing you on that clip from Space or whatever that show was. Also, I want the figures, now... seriously, the deep one is AWESOME.

Malebolgia: Nice cover art, although I think the investigators will need more than a .45 to save the captive!

Seriously, the hobby needs to grow, and we need as many games out there as possible.

As soon as the book arrives into Mike's garage, things will be underway. Mike has the first 10 packs are ready for release. The first 5 or 6 and rulebook will be Wave 1, with the rest of the packs coming on likely, a monthly basis.

And an update, Mike got back from the print shop again this morning, and they've changed the format to a somewhat smaller size with quality coil binding. The first copy was okay, but not great. One of the guys in the shop put together another format on his own to show Mike as he didn't want to see the project leave the shop, and Mike thought it was great.

He's also been told it could be completed by as early as next week. Fingers crossed.

And it seems I'll be waiting till I go to the shop later in the summer to get my dirty mitts on that lead. Speaking of which, I might shave for that occasion. BC does that to you... hippies and their strange after-dark activities.

Could we get a better snap of the cover? That looks to be a good match in layout with my copy of the Necronomicon.

Before anyone asks the inevitable: who is this guy, and why has he got Mike's stuff? I'm the editor/graphic designer/webmaster on the project. I'm in here reading all the time - just haven't posted anything before.

Speaking of the website, I'm working on a new one to replace the low-tech placeholder site we threw together a few months back. It'll be online before we officially launch the game (you guys will be the first to know, of course!), and will feature a introductory PDF that will walk you through a quick battle with some dastardly cultists.
