"55 minutes in Peking"
« on: April 30, 2019, 10:24:39 AM »
We will be running a demo game at "Partizan" show near Newark [UK] next month, featuring a 4 foot section of the Tartar wall, Lots of MDF Chinese buildings and figures from Victorious miniatures Boxer rebellion range.
A couple of photos of the planned game, I will upload better from the event, hope these are ok.

I should mention the walls for the court yards are from James at Oshiro great they are too, a few of the buildings are resin from Adrian's walls pre painted range well worth a look.

The Tartar wall was made by Dave at TM Terrain, it is a wooden frame plastered then carved he told me, as for the rules they are being written by myself and chums.

Thanks for the info Keith T. I've got a good collection of Peking stuff, mostly figures with a start on the Legations, but the Tartar wall has always put me off, somehow. I now realise that the secret is to sub-contract the work to someone with more experience and skill!

What is the width of the walkway to the wall?

The width of the walkway is 6" as it was pointed out that cavalry could ride 4 abreast.

I have asked my friend to add another 2' to the length for the next demo game in August.
