Canadian C2 MEXAS

hey LAF,

So, does anyone make a C2 MEXAS that you guys have seen? I want 1 or two for a scenario, but since it was in such limited use by the CAF in Afghanistan, i'm not surprised there are no models out there..

Solido produce a 1/50 Leopard 1 that you could use as the basis. Turret and additional armour would be down to you to scratch build.

I will have to keep an eye out for that, so far my Bundeswehr have an M113 undergoing conversion.

Depending on when your scenario is set, there is always the option of leased 2A6Ms from September 2007.

have you thought of asking Full Battle Rattle Miniatures for one?    For some strange reasons I like the MEXAS quite a lot... if you keep the price reasonable I can buy one too (that makes two!).

To be honest, there are few 28mm scaled (whatever it is...) Leopard (1 or 2...)

Thanks gents - I don't plan on making one, it's not so much of a hot ticket item, even though it's one of the cooler looking tanks! I may have to settle with putting some work into the 2A6 from Empress. Anyone know how to sculpt Barracuda?

Anyone know how to sculpt Barracuda?

Possibly similar to Zimmerit, thin layer of greenstuff and use a tool like a piece of tube to create the texture.
