[COMMERCIAL] New 1/56 church from Titan Terrain NZ
« on: May 01, 2019, 12:53:35 AM »
Hiya LAF!

I've just released a new 1/56 scale church that I thought you guys might be interested in:

All the roofs come off and the belltower breaks into two allowing easy access to the interior. I've also modeled some pews and a podium for cover if you're into skirmish games.

You can find it here: www.titanterrain.nz/product/church

If you've got any feedback on the Church or ideas for terrain you'd like to see definitely let me know.

I've just started work on doing a bunch of dockside/industrial terrain to go with the boats I've been working on (the first of which I'll be releasing later this week, pictured below).

Although generic, that church looks quite like the church in our town centre!
The boat looks great.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

That and the gunboat both look great.

Going to try your hand at your own version of a freighter or tramp steamer?

It's actually a 1/56 scale model of a Church I drive past every day, I can actually see it right now if I look out the window. Do you live in New Zealand, maybe we live in the same town?

Cheers. Unfortunately I don't have as much time for design as I'd like as I'm doing full time study so I've got to be reasonably picky with what I work on. I'll see how the boats I've done go, if they're popular I'd love to do some more.

Good looking models. There’s a couple of items there I can see myself picking up. Do you have a distributor in Oz?

No but I've got pretty good rates to Australia, flat $10NZD courier with DHL Express.

Cool stuff! I'm not in the market for either a gunboat or a church but both are awesome.

What's the approximate dimensions of the church?

That church looks great, especially the interior.

Hopefully these questions will be helpful to you.

What is the spacing between the pews? Is there room for 25/32mm bases?

Is the church rendered rather than stone?

Have you considered optional roofing overlays in grey board? I understand you have limited design time.

The gun boat also looks excellent.

Good luck with your venture (unfortunately postage would probably be prohibitive to the otherside of the world, ho hum).

The pews are loose, you can make room for anything you want.

Not sure what you mean by that?

Yeah Absolutely. I'll be doing optional tiles/shingles for most of my WW2 buildings when time allows.

I'm doing shipping through my old employer, they have pretty good rates. My international shipping is $10 to Australia and $20NZD everywhere else (around 10 Euro) flat  courier with DHL Express.

Sorry. What I mean is that the walls are plastered/cement render rather than stone, brick  or (as found near here) flint (and brick).

I live in Rugby, England, UK.  It looks a lot like our St Andrews church.
