My model room (which is not my model room, but the room I use for models - subtle difference) is overflowing. And that does not include the bulk storage in the cellar.

New plan: do not work on any project, just finish models (i) cluttering the surface (ii) on the various stacks (iii) on the shelves (iv) in the cupboard.

Here is some of the pile I need to get done:

Er, wait, what? Back to railway days, too, it seems.

These guys seem unfazed by the business at hand:

(that's where I take many of my photos of models - a.k.a. one of their preferred beds)

Some recent stuff:

A goblin from the Skull Pass box before Warhammer world was destroyed.

A Bones dryad (I took a fancy to this small chap).

Culexus assassin (in more colours than you've ever seen him before, I bet)

And my first model of May, an old Foundry Mek-Quake, one of my favourite anti-heroes.

I plan to have completed all the models here by 2047. The cats only need a bit of drybrush....

And this solidly proves that there's always somebody worse than you lol

I'm showing those pics to my wife next time there's discussion about the gradual expansion of my hobby area. The cats will soften her up a bit too I reckon... :D
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Ha Ha, I have almost exactly the same pair of cats, a brother (complete ginger) and sister (spotted).

Cheers,
Stroezie.

Hmm, somebody must be making a production run of these then, hope mine aren't re-casts...  :D
In our case they're 'not-brothers' - we adopted the stripey one first, and the white and ginger a couple of years later, and thy took to each other well after an initial brief bout of spitting.

On model news - I have two biggish models I need to complete to clean out the wife's section of the work table, so the focus is currently on a Black Templars Land Raider, rescued as a second-hand model. It did need some work to repair all the gaps in its first incarnation.

Not something I finished today - the Crusader Land Raider still needs dirtying up - but something recent enough to be part of the current spring-cleaning drive.
A Necron floaty thingy - I am in a colourful phase...

THAT is the first painted Necron vehicle that that I actually like.  Nice work.

Thank you - that started out as a more sombre affair which should have been sand with a small amount of blue, but it ended up like this.  :D

I finished the 2nd hand Land Raider Crusader in Black Templar colours last night. This was bought assembled and painted in Ultramarines blue, with the bolters glues rather wonkily on a piece of wire (!) - I think there was an old Turn Signals on a Land Raider cartoon on this.
I had to remove them, together with some brass etched emblems which were not glued on too well, and seal metres of gaping open gaps (or so it seemed).
I found a set of old Land Raider doors in resin a friend had given me on a visit to Malta - he reasoned I should have them, as they had the Maltese cross on them: Jyrki, I hope you get to see these somehow.

It had a missing hatch, and I improvised with the pipe blank seen on top - that represents an Ad Mech modification which gives it a shield pack to make it an assault version with one or two shields, to get its on-board troops through. It also has an added Onager missile launcher on its starboard side. At least that gives it some fluff to go with its weathering.

Here it is in all it's grimy glory.

The Ad Mech servitors who worked on its upgrades could at least have spruced it up a bit...
