Entering the Maze of Malcor
« on: May 02, 2019, 10:22:59 AM »
I'm off into the Maze of Malcor tonight. It's all being organised by the irrepressible Frode Rage Olsen, so I'll dig out my best looking warband and we'll start. Pictures to follow.

I think I'll use the Enchanter:

We entered the Maze of Malcor this evening.

What Chaos! I think I fired one arrow at my opponent before we both fled with what treasures we could grab, pursued by Porters, Gtr Demons, Shrieking Wolves, Rats etc.

Great fun.

All praise to my opponent Rage for building the scenery, creating a Cthulhu based warband and painting all the monsters.

Pictures:
1) getting ready.
2) My warband enters the tabletop
3) We line up, surely those walking wardrobes won't be much of a threat.
4) For crying out loud, nothing stops them!
5) Rotha the Marksman takes out a damaged porter, grabs the scroll from it, opens the cabinet in front of him and skips off, last man on the table-top, with the treasure. Hero.

See, I find building flat-pack furniture very therapeutic - each to their own I suppose :D
Looks like a great game - bravo!
(What did you use for display cabinets?)

The furniture all came with the dungeon. I'm not sure where Rage bought the dungeon from. The walking furniture is of course the Frostgrave Porter: http://northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=12706

We played scenarios 2 and 3 this evening.

My entry into the Hall was a disaster, I was mobbed by glass spiders, bumped into a mantodeus, got hit by Rage's warband and ran out with two treasures.

Scenario 3 went much better, took out the Acris Birds, took out Rage's Wizards but couldn't get hold of that Tatakaka.
