Watching with interest.  I have a couple of war canoes to scratch for Polynesia - maybe not Dayak prahus but your work is still inspiring to me.

Thanks fellas! I am just back from the beautiful island of Saipan and hope to finish this canoe in the coming week. I am not sure if I will proceed with the second canoe at this point. I have some Chinese buildings beckoning and some mounted Chinese bandits that have been neglected on my painting table for months.

I finished the one prahu today. Here is a side view

...and a head on view

Per usual my photography skills are substandard and I will try to get some better shots with better light in the next couple of days. Until then here are a couple of shots of a Dayak raid on another Dayak village as I could not resist pulling out some toys to put the prahu in context.

another

and a final shot

Everything on the table is built and painted by me except for the spectacular Eureka Dayaks that are my pride and joy and painted by the great painters Bugsda and Orctrader.

Lovely work, mate.
You should be very proud of that, an original of your own construction!

This is a seriously cool project. As has been previously said in this thread, I need to put more effort into my projects.  ;)
