WWI Paintings?
« on: June 18, 2009, 09:22:35 PM »
A sort of off the wall question, please read all of it before responding.

I am looking for high resolution images of World War I paintings, preferably those painted before WWII. Has anyone, during their trips to museums and such, photographed any of these paintings?

Yes, I know I can look online and find them, I have found plenty, unfortunately, to get a high resolution version, the photographers want to charge hundreds of pounds/euros/dollars. The project that this is for does not have that kind of budget.

I am looking for ones similar to the one attached.
