Wargames Illustrated Forthcoming Interview With Dr. Stephen Turnbull

(1/1)

Grimjack:
YOUR QUESTIONS FOR US TO ASK DR STEPHEN TURNBULL

There’s not much Dr Stephen Turnbull doesn’t know about Samurai, the Mughal Empire, Renaissance Warfare and much more beside. He is also a keen wargamer and guest of honour on the forthcoming Geek Nations Feudal Japan tour. You will definitely have seen something from his impressive back catalogue via Osprey or elsewhere.

Geek Nation have offered the chance to chat with Stephen and we at Wargames Illustrated will be interviewing him about all things Samurai warfare and beyond. Would you like to ask him a question?

If so post your question as a reply to this post and we will pick the best ones to throw at him in our upcoming interview.

Osmoses:

Muzfish4:
Battles of the Sengoku Jidaii period seem to have more instances of battlefield treachery than almost any other period. How would you simulate this on a wargames table?

What is your preferred rule set for skirmish level gaming in medieval Japan?

FierceKitty:
As the most widely-recognised name in this field, would you like to see more actual battles on the Sengoku table, or a continuation of the tendency to game skirmishes?
