Recently toured  the Highlands and the Jacobite battlefields. My regiment fought here.  Sheriffmuir .

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing. Soldiers leap does look more daunting in real life. Have driven past Killicrankie but never had the time for a stop; must do so!

Been to Killicrankie. Not much to see battle wise but is a very beautiful area and great hiking.

I walked both trails roughly aligned with the dispositions of either side. Yes, very peaceful now and gutted about  the pub, 😩
