Still working on it, not had time to take any more pics though.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

How goes the space-time breach?

I literally can’t imagine how surreal that must be.

My ex is an utter c***.

a couple of weekends progress:

insulation :

hardboard covering over the top:

starting on the shelves.

My poor wargames table!  But I know now that it is strong enough to hold my weight as I had to get on top of it to fix the insulation panels on the ceiling.

Shelving built . My woodworking skills are non existent so they have been built for strength rather than good looks. It's rough however I am sure a blind man would be happy to see it. There is lots of extra wood behind the hardboard walls fixed into the structure of the shed to support the shelves.

I had a tidy up and couldn't resist putting some green felt (£11 from Amazon) on the 6 x 4 to make it show up easier.

Comments welcome.

That looks cosy! The ceiling seems to be low - is there any headroom?

Looking good. Your woodworking skills seem rather good to me.

I see you have gone for quite a high table which would be my preference as well. I trust you have room for a painting desk and all the necessary creature comforts?

Hi Michi! The headroom is 5ft 8" in the eaves. Tallest I could get within my budget. Only one of my friends is tall over 6 feet .

Thanks armchairgeneral.  Yes I deliberately went for a high table (1 metre) for two reasons: one is that I find myself standing up during wargames the whole time, even if a chair is available, the second was to maximise space for storage underneath.  I  will have a couple of high stools if my friends want to sit for a game.
Oh yes painting desk (with more shelves) is being built now...

Alright, that´s what I thought. I'd have to duck to get in...

Only did one hour today, started on the painting table...

The legs will have another piece of wood to brace them..but 3 of them and the top frame are screwed into the structure of the shed.

with the MDF just laid on top to see how it looks.

There will be shelves for WIP on the end near the door and more shelves directly underneath the table to store the paints out of direct sunlight.

Great to see the progress. Will the budget stretch to fitted carpet?  :)

Just be very messy when flocking and the floor will feel like carpet.
