Masters of the new Colony 87 sculpts arrived today and look superb! Six new sculpts for the Wave 3 Kickstarter and a couple of stretch goals with more to come. So here’s a preview of Will Beck’s artwork for one of the new figures - Port Administrator, Adjunct Gilda.

COMING SOON... COLONY 87 KICKSTARTER+++
We will have a new kickstarter launching next month. It's a new set of wonderful retro sci-fi civilians - plus the previous two waves released by Jon Boyce.

The last of the new sculpts have been finished today. The kickstarter pages are pretty much built and the Wave 3 minis are all on the painting table. Wave One and Two (pictured below) have had beautiful new paint jobs from LAF's very own Dr Matthias - and you will be able pick the sculpts up as part of the core pledges. Stay tuned...

Same here - they look smart - but i just would never use them... and yes i know that is not a criteria for not butying them - I am attempting to show restraint

They should be of use for anyone wanting to play a more narrative game or sci-fi RPG. Whether you want a planetary governor to escort to safety, a desperate group of starport mechanics to help defend against an alien horde, or a scheming advisor RPG character, these have a use. Or they can be used as objectives rather than another pile of crates. Or just for fun :)

So glad to see these hit retail, I was broke during the previous ks's.

I can live without the froggies (no nostalgia for Slann, I'm afraid) but many of the others will find their way onto a cyberpunk/apocalyptic table  :D

Those are spectacular paintjobs. Must finish mine (5 to go from the two sets). Looking forward to seeing what wave 3 brings.

COLONY 87 WAVE THREE PREVIEWS+++
We will be launching the Colony 87 Kickstarter in the next couple of days, so here's a quick preview of a couple of new figures...

Need safe passage across the Dog Wastes or to make an Outland delivery without paying Orange Star's sky high tariffs? Then hire Captain Helena van Gaal and her co-pilot Freeman Liste - the crew of the Serena Joy - a private hopper available for reliable charters and goods runs across the colony.
