US military sandbags  were usually olive green in Vietnam, but sometimes there was a mix of olive green and plain hessian.

Of course once you add laterite soil, everything that’s permeable and even things that aren’t take on a reddish hue.

Very nice indeed. One question which color did you use for the sandbags? I thought they are some kind of buff color in reality or am I wrong.

I went with a sort of greenish grey base (40% basalt grey 60% german cam. dark green).
Here's some of the ref pics of FSB's I found online:

It contrasts quite nicely with the ground colour, and you can add washes to tone it down/filter it.
I did go with a more hesian colour for the bags on tanks/armoured vehicle's as otherwise the'd blend in with the colour of the armour.

Here's the last of the Fire Base bits; was suppossed to be for a 105mm Howitzer, but not sure if the company I ordered one from is currently up and running..

I may add some barbed wire to to last trench bits...

Thanks.

The metal bits are 1/48 Pierced Steel Planking (PSP)/ Marston matting; found it on eBay, made from etched brass.

Think I've got just enough left to do a little ladding pad...
