Murdock and I got together yesterday evening for another ECW game using the computer moderated rules, Carnage and Glory II:

Nice looking game shame you felt the need to go for comedy place names when you could have given it more credibility by just picking somewhere from a map.  I agree that you really do need a non-playing umpire for C&GII, things do move along at a pace as it's only units that do something that creates fatigue that need to be entered into the programme.

What are talking about? It fits right in with Bell End, Bushygap and Fudgepack upon Humber. ;)

The comedic names I'm OK with.

Also - I gotta admit that the 28mm stuff does look bloody glorious on a large table and with a proper number of units. I'm also easily distracted with lots of colourful flags. :D
I said it before, but these rules sound mighty interesting. So apart from the computer you also need a data entry guy at hand?

It's certainly not essential but it speeds things up. Think of him as an 'umpire'.

I agree. Like I said in my blog, we started about 7:30 PM and didn't finish until 1:30 AM.
