 Sensible. I've been waiting 8 months for a corrected order from BTD. I ended up buying some from eBay to complete a platoon.

I don't know about sensible, but if you consider compulsively buying figures and then not starting to paint them for many years is sensible, then that's me!   ;D

The smock is really effective, I like that, but the hands are way lighter than the face?

Weirdly, I had forgotten to do my last level of flesh highlight on hands and face, so thanks for the heads up!  I also think it is the natural shadow caused by the overhead light that may make the face look a little darker.  I always avoid using flash.

What about if you replace "for many years" with "not so far"?

That's a very good looking montage of stuff you've built.  I like the details...down to the patches on the uniforms.  Good show!

Yes, it's been a while.

Start of a new platoon.  Here are some 28mm Volksgrenadiers using the free sprue from WI.  Quite nice figures and I think they will fit well with the Empress range.
