What are the insignia on the shoulders.
I don't recall blue shoulder badges on British Infantry.

Regiment is usually a red curved badge.

Great stuff, I'm just reading about the Canadians, pushing into Hunland in 1945. That No.2 on the PIAT must be a rookie if he's not prone, if they're about to let fly it means they're both pretty close to Jerry!

Perhaps the No 2 is around the corner of a building or a stone wall while the gunner is prone aiming the weapon? ;)
