Hi, all. Who makes one of these, but in 1/48 or 1/56?

Cheers!

I wish I knew.

I made my own by heavily converting a Lledo T delivery van (new wheels, body half rebuilt including a fair bit of actual metal-chopping), but mine's a runabout rather than the full-length version:

Thanks thus far! Something like this would be the intended end result, although I am not even sure whether it is based on a Model T:

This car we have recently discussed (as well as items of Mongol uniforms): http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=114176.15

If you certainly want to build something similar, I would take the PRINCE HENRY VAUXHALL 1914 model from Matchbox as a base for the conversion, you can easily find them from Ebay

I'm not aware of any 48th/56th models of straight Model T's (at all), but Company B do an armoured version suitable for RCW/BOB type scenarios.

Thank you, Cuprum!

Might this be close enough?

I am not ready to say unequivocally. Follow the link in my first post - there are different versions.
Most likely, this is some kind of American car, of which a lot was supplied to Russia for the White armies. Later they got the Bolsheviks, and from them - most likely, the Mongols.

Converted Matchbox 1911 Model Ts: https://over-open-sights.blogspot.com/2018/06/converted-light-car-patrol-model-ts.html

The 1/48 RPM 1917 Model T Ambulance kit can be easily chopped about to create a 1917 Model T Utility vehicle.

Matchbox also produced a smaller 1/52 1921 Model T delivery Van, again it too can be chopped up but getting two figures to sit sit side by side in the front is difficult: https://over-open-sights.blogspot.com/search/label/Light%20Car%20Patrol

Or.... you eventually do as my late friend Adrian Shepherd and myself did a year ago and commission John Hart to make them up!
Sorry no images.... can't be having with uploading them to file sharing websites any more.

Do Company B still make theirs? The produced a skelleton T-Ford for conversion work some years ago.

I've one floating around somewhere .I've neglected the ww1 stuff for a while. As I'm a little pre occupied with the Homefront figures.plus a museum build thats been sucking the life out of me.If there's a genuine interest in one I'll ask Simon to add it to the release schedule .

Mark.

Thanks Cuprum, I do have some of the Matchbox MoYs, and with a bit of a re-paint they're fine (though I've no idea what scale they are - 1/50, 1/48, 1/43?) - and as such they can look a little odd (depending on the mini they're next to).
Traveller - thanks for the pointer, I wasn't aware of these.
Over Open Sights - they're great, any plans to make them available?

If you convert the Matchbox  MoY  Prince Henry, remember to replace the pointy brass "Bullnose" radiator front with something flatter, as only the pre-war top range sports car had this. It's not tricky with card and mesh. Fortunately on the Matchbox model the bullnose bit often seems to break off, allowing you to buy it cheap as a "spares or repair" version. I recently paid under a pound for one.
