My Eastern Front collection
« on: May 30, 2019, 05:23:18 PM »
Been going through all my collections to inventory what I have and what I need to work on/get. So since I had my entire WW1 collection out I figured I'd share it with you all.
Here is the whole lot with 4ground buildings in the back.

Here are my Germans

Here are my Russians

I plan to add Austrians to fight alongside my Germans. I also want to paint a bunch more Russians but in the white shirts.

Nice! Who makes the German guns and crews you have there?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I think the Germans are miniature renegades. I have several too.

What is the mark of the Russians please.

Most the German infantry are Renegade while a few are from Brigade. All the Russians are from Copplestone

I have a fair few of those Russians and they from Brigade’s Storm in the East range  :)

Very nice collection, nicely painted.  I look forward to seeing the Austrians - the early pike-grey uniform will add a nice contrast.

Nice work! Always good to see something emerge from storage to be properly appreciated.

I have a similar collection myself, and I believe that for the Whites the machine gun in black is from Copplestone, while the infantry figures, Cossacks, and artillery piece are from Brigade Games' Storm in the East range as mentioned earlier. It's a combination of different kits I believe, one of regular White infantry in caps, another of White infantry in fur hats, and one or both of the command kits.

Thank you all for the compliments. The cobblestone whites's work fine however my paint job is not strictly historically accurate for most the war. Most Russian infantry, before the revolution, wore the white blouses. I painted mine so they could be used for mixed WW1/Civil War whites or reds.

They look great.  If I were to do some like that, I'd do them just like you did.
