The Barbarians are the old Grenadier ones, sculpted by Mark Copplestone.

Some are available from EM4: http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/Cavalry.html
Others available here: http://www.mirliton.it/index.php?cName=fantasy-2528mm-barbarians
They were also available as part of Companion Miniatures but I'm not sure where they went.
Also from Dave Thomas at UK shows, also via his Ebay shop: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/davet329_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ
The Grenadier rights/ownership issue is somewhat confused. o_o
Doug at EM4 would be my first port of call; nice man & great service. :D

Cavalry looks great!! Nice layout for the photo shoot. Hellboy was just on TV this past weekend. This figure's legs look a bit stubby!!

:) Thanks, Hitman, I learned two things :

First,
Quote
Stubby :
1) a- Having the nature of or suggesting a stub, as in shortness, broadness, or thickness: stubby fingers and toes.
b- Having a short, stocky build; thickset.
2) Short and blunt, as from much use: a stubby pencil. See Regional Note at stob.
3) Covered with or made of stubs.
4) Short and bristly: a stubby beard.

And second, [wiki]Sergeant Stubby[/wiki]  :o  :-*

meow,
Matt

Lovely figures Overlord. ;D
Great figures, loads of charater in each one, considering they are approaching 20 years old they are still in my opinion the best out there. mark Copplestone is one of the finest.

I wholeheartedly agree, despite being a bit of a Copplestone fanboy  ;D

There is a good mix of miniatures in the range (spread across various current manufacturers).  I have, over a long period of time, been putting together a Barbarian army with only a handfull of miniatures from other manufacturers.  It started as a 'Hordes of the Things' army but has gradually grown enough to soon field about 4 seperate armies. (around 100 AP in the rules).  The next batch (whenever I get around to it) will be mounted archers/light cavalry conversions
