Crikey he's a big 'un!

Silly question but how do you paint the stonework in your terrain? Really impressed with how the environments have turned out!

GW basilicum grey contrast paint over light grey primer.... that's it.... super easy.

Just received the Core and Reliquary boxes as a birthday present to myself. I knew what was in the core box, but the reliquary box came as a huge surprise - monsters, including The Beast and Cockatrice, an Ottoman army including the sultan on his flying carpet, more characters, including Edward III mounted and dismounted, more types of infantry, an artillery piece, various demons, musicians and flags and extra cards.

I am quite keen to paint all of this eventually, but will give it an initial go just using the coloured ring bases. first job, get my head round the rules, which seem relatively straightforward, and investigate the world of laminating pouches to find the best fit for the various cards.

Previously I have only ever done historical gaming, but the idea of an historical medieval world populated by the creatures that the people of the time actually believed in is very appealing and a great bridge between history and fantasy.

If it’s too hard, I can’t do it

Welcome aboard! That's exactly what drew me to this game concept...

I've started printing some buildings to mix in with the others for some variation...

Looking particularly good and very in-keeping with the whole concept.

With some paint on it, it definitely feels like it fits in...

The peasants revolt! Finished up these new units... 4 units way from having all of the second scenario "The Battle of Crecy" done... 132 minis in that scenario... it's been a haul!

Really liking the way you’ve tackled the basing. It did occur to me that putting figures in and  taking figures out for each game would be a bit of a bind, but my second box has loads more figures but no extra bases, so may look at either MDF round bases or some other solution.
