Fantastic!  I startled a chap sitting here next to me due to guffawing out loud at the 'CANT NOT KANT' banner!  lol

Lovely setup! I particularly like the armed police; Artizan or something else?

The armed police are a mix of Ironclad and Artizan IIRC. The Boys from Pippin Fort are Empress VBCW figures and the Firemen were also Ironclad.

We’ll be putting on the game at Partizan tomorrow - officially a demo but there’s always room for someone who wants to roll a few dice for a turn or two.

I'll come by and have a look. I might say hello or I might just lurk  lol

Lurking is permitted. If you say ‘hello’, I’ll only end up buying stuff off you, so it’s probably preferable!

I have to say these pictures just don't do it justice.
I popped over to see the table at Partizan. One of the friendliest group of nutters I've come across at show in a long time.(the music was an inspired addition it gave context and sense of fun long before you got to the table top.)
Lovely table which I hope gets expanded upon and a second outing next year.

Only negative( from my perspective ) was I simply have the time to hear about your home brew rules . Only that it was similar to VBCW. Before I got dragged off to talk shop.
And talk my mate out of buying an MG42 across the road.
Cracking game.
Mark.

Hmmm. Not sure'd have said that if you were next door to 'em all day... there are only so many obscene versions of the Postman Pat lyrics one can come up with in 6 hours of repetition  ;)

Just to be clear, Postman Pat only turned up once, in game one!

Mark, the rules we used were essentially “Chain of Command” but we used the “Sharp Practice” card-driven activation of Leaders instead of the usual command dice mechanism.

We find, for multi-player participation games like this, it speeds things up and keeps everyone more involved - there’s less downtime as everyone sits around waiting for John to decide how best to allocate his dice.
