Great stuff. Do you have any shots next to a ruler or something to gauge the size of the sculpts, especially the weaponry? Some of the smaller stuff like the spear might be a pain for casting.

Im going to make some final pictures once everything is assembled. Im replacing the spear. I will make a point and a sauroter that will fit into a rod, to avoid casting a fragile shaft. Maybe the crest of the first one is too thin, the rest are ok I hope. I ve seen smaller parts being casted in resin and I have two metallic Mortal Gods minis, that have the same sizes even if the detail is somewhat crude. I think the hardest part will be deciding the parts that need to be cut.

The elaboration of the crest base is of unbelievable beauty!
Your aesthetic approach makes this project unique!
Cheers!

Incredible!

I see for my Mortal Gods warbands. Two heavy lochagos, one heavy promachos and two veteran hoplites.  :-*

The most Greek hoplites I've seen!
And in perfect human proportions!  :-*

Supurb sculpting work, you are to be aploauded. Great detail, where did you get the idea of the helmet plume design from? Not seen it before, although admittedly I mostly look for shield designs when looking at period pottery.

Cheers

Thanks for your kind words!
Most of the inspiration came from a greek pottery database and museum exhibits.
