I suspect most people will have seen the FB post or received the Perry newsletter by now but here it is in any case :

Two boxes are planned, one for the cuirassiers/dragoons/chevau-légers (same heads, arms, legs and horses, different torsos for each type) and one for the hussars. No release date obviously since Alan Perry is just getting started on these but my guess is that with the pre-1813 Napoleonic French infantry first in the tooling queue, the Austrian sets are unlikely to be available for purchase until very late this year or early 2020 (the latter being more likely, IMHO).

I didn't know. This is excellent news. I shall start saving now. :-)

Allied Napoleonic cavalry has been the biggest gap in 28mm plastics for a while.

I should just about have finished all the Austrian infantry that I still have to paint by the time these come out. ;-)

Thank you for posting.

You are quite welcome  :)

And you have plenty of time to save your pennies as the sets probably won't be out until next year - unless Renedra pull out all the stops on them.

Excellent news, really excited by this release, can start building 40 odd strong units now without the weight of lead normally required.

Cheers

Great news, while I have plenty of Austrian infantry I have almost no cavalry, that will change with this release!  In a related note  I had just told a friend in my gaming group I had more than enough miniatures and would not  be buying anything for a while, oh well things change quickly when the Perry's start pushing putty!
