Obadiah Johnsons Desperate Dash
« on: June 22, 2019, 10:59:42 PM »
At Wigan Tabletop Games Club we used some of our new AWI Rebels & Patriots minis for a Pulp Game set in the AWI. The rules worked well for this period and it was an enjoyable game.
Please see link below for the pickle Mr Johnson managed to get himself into!

Wonderful story and a very clever use of the Pulp Alley rules. The photos didn't load for me but it was a fun read nonetheless.

Sorry for the photo's not showing.  Our techical dept will look into that. Meanwhile here are the snaps of the action:

Hookers Town in all its understated glory

Obadiah in panicky flight as he realises the figures looming out of the mist are some angry French former trading partners.

Bessie is about to find out how Buffalo Hump acquired his name.

Mowgli's death or glory attempt (unfortunately for him it was the former yet again)

The scrum around Obadiah in the closing stages of the game.

Simison is so close yet so far from victory

Obadiah flees the carnage of his own making, like many a political chancer I'm sure he'll be back.

Mowgli in the American Revolution?  Rudyard Kipling's ghost is going to be knocking at your window mate.   :o

Now, Magua, a James Fennimore Cooper character, would seem right at home.   :D

Nice buildings!
