Crucible Crush has returned with their Cthulhu 1968: Black Sun Tabletop Skirmish Game on Kickstarter. This time around, the ideas and miniatures are more fleshed out. This game mixes Cthulhu related encounters with the Vietnam War in 28mm.

For the historical only players in the group, you can buy in at pledge levels that get you just the miniatures.

I have a mixed feeling with this project. I like a lot the figures, most of them, but I have zero interest in the rulebook because there are a lot of good rulesets in the market to play this "period" and I expect to play it in Vietnam, not in an alternative Earth. Then, there is the Canadian pledge and the US and European one; this is not clear for me. I must pay more money for the same product, and then, the P&P cost to Europe... waiting until 2020 to receive my product.

In my opinion, this is not an interesting KS. If they want to produce a ruleset, they could do it as a PDF one, reducing the cost and without the need of a KS campaign. I´m sure the figures will sell very well.

But I wish them the best of luck; the products from Crucible Crush are very, very good.
