Your Russians look great.
I have those same figures.
Hope to get started on them soon.
Also are looking to order some US Army
from Under Fire Mimis.

I see he is planning to add to his Russians.
I have a bunch of Russians for 1980 Afghanistan I could use also.
I started to order some more Russians and US Army figures from him.
But have a question about postage from the UK to the US.

Just let me know if you can't agree a postage cost with him, as I would be happy to post them to you at cost.

Fine. But it's a pity - you did not guess with the color of the uniform.

Odd comment?

Who needs guess work when you clearly have first rate reference material, I'd say you are spot on with your colour choices.

The color of the uniform of the Soviet infantry does not correspond to reality  ;)

Too much brown.

The color remained the same as during the Second World War. There were options for shades, with a predominance of yellow or green. But never brown.
Bags and belts were never gray (or black) in color - they were different shades of khaki (from light to dark - randomly).
In a combat setting, shoulder straps and buttonholes had the color of a uniform. Officers never had epaulettes of red color. Ceremonial shoulder straps could be gold, field - khaki.

Thanks, but my blokes seem to be dressed in a very similar colour to those photos.
