There are no problems - these are just figures for the game.  lol
But believe the person who wore this uniform, that it does not look like a Soviet uniform. I would add yellow and green paint to this color. Or reduced the red.

Look pretty damn good.  :D

Bloody lovely looking figures, was a privilege to play with them. To me they look spot on and I cant wait to see them in action again 👍😀

Nicely painted but I reckon the uniform is somewhat too brown. The red collar tabs and shoulder boards look good and make the figures stand out but in reality I think you’ll find that they weren’t worn, other than in peace time exercises and for parade and barrack room dress. Even from an early point in the Afghan conflict, photos show an absence of the collar tabs and either the subdued, khaki, version of the shoulder boards or none at all on active service.

That said these are aesthetic choices and the flash of colour does look good.

If you are going with the non-subdued flashes and shoulder boards I reckon you owe it to yourself add the CA to the shoulder boards and the arm of service badge to the collar tabs. That will really make them pop.

Again, nice paint work.

The sleeve insignia was worn only on the greatcoat and on the Full dress uniform. For everyday uniforms, he was not used on his jacket.

Uniform of an private soldier of the Soviet army (70s - 80s):
1. The front (ceremonial) uniform.
2. Front-exit uniform.
3. Everyday uniform.
4. Field uniform.
5. Field uniforms of a new sample.

The color of the shoulder straps, the sleeve insignia and the stripe on the cap - according to the type of troops.

What do you reckon this would look like in 28mm?
That's a very personal question...  ;)

Those figures look great, way better than what i can do. Though some of the comments about them, make me realise i had better never show mine, or i will have to burn them, part of the reason i do not post pictures.
