These are looking very good, Tom  8)

I like the little touches like the bloody bandage on the GI's hand. I think this range has brought the best out of your painting :)

Thanks Richard!

I think it is also that i changed my painting style a bit. I am using a lot more washes as I used to do.

Here is the next NVA soldier with a traditional Vietnamese scarf:

I finished the second building of my Hue city project. Here it is next to the first one:

And some pictures of a squad of Marines searching the buildings:

The base of the fences/walls was 3D printed stuff coming with the Vietnam kickstarter by WOW Buildings. I added a bit of plaster to break up the , in my view, to even surface of the walls. Hope that helps.

This is all really great stuff, I have a question about the miniatures though.

I'm planning on getting some from Empress soon, I've noticed they seem to have a thin metal base on them, is that already attached? I wan't to give them the usual round bases my other people will have.

Thanks.

Buildings look great! I need to upgrade and silence my ender 5 so I can do overnight prints.

@TripleBackFlip, they do have integral metal bases, just trim them down with snips and superglue them down to the bases you want to use. Just use a bit of ready mixed household filler to blend them in it you don't want a visible 'step' on the base  :)

What Cypher said . The bases are very easy to blend in, or if you really have to get rid of them a belt sander might work.

If you have access to Warlord lipped bases, they will bed nicely in.
