Some very nice work Cook,
I like the one on the right.
He would be great for a fantasy mini also.

Thanks for sharing

Here are the painted versions of Pink Pat and Bucket. Still need to do some basing.

Bucket was originally yellow, but that ended up being the primary color for my mining corporation so I didn't want him looking like part of that faction. I settled on Blue and Green.

Bucket is the third of my drop ship crew. One more to go!

I got a lot done with my sculpting over the past week, so I should have lots of updates over this week.

This is a new alien bounty hunter, ready for hire at the local watering hole.

Largely a mass of stumpy, rubbery, appendages, this race employs a single integrated piece of wearable technology throughout their empire. You could think of this a little like an iPhone that you wear... and that has the capacity to project a high power lance of focused energy, and provide limited flight capabilities.

While entirely capable of holding down a number of jobs; mine worker, mechanic, or accountant, this particular being craves some adventure, and that almost always means tackling or vaporizing others in this part of the galaxy.

Contrary to common belief, this isn't a look of surprise. In this race, the posture you see is viewed the way Humans see Clint Eastwood's steely-eyed gaze.

Bucket for scale:

Wow, Cook.  I’m really liking the new alien!

Dan
PS.  Did you start with a purple base coat or is that a wash?

Started with a khaki color, washed purple, and then dry brushed a little base color back on. He is a bit more tan/purple to my naked eye, though the pictures seem to skew towards yellow/purple.

Thanks, Dan and Doug.

Here are the two new heavy troopers for my evil empire faction.

And a look at the packs. Because these figures were so top-heavy I mounted them on steel washers to give them a bit of weight. This worked pretty well, so I'll probably go back and do the same to all of the other troops in this faction.

I only have one more push mold figure to show at this point, but that will come later.

Taking some inspiration from Zrunelord, I have added an IFV to my evil empire's forces:

I think it took me a pretty solid afternoon of work to get this put together.

Weapons are magnetized, and I have some other options already in the works, as well as a second vehicle which will be a mining hauler.

Josey seems appropriate  :D

I've been slowly picking away at things, but have become VERY distracted by making my own 6mm scale mechs and terrain. I went down a rabbit hole  :?

And in case anyone is interested, here are the first two 6mm scale mechs I made. Roughly 12mm (left) and 17-18mm (right).

At the outset, I was going to use these for Gamma Wolves but the more I learn about those rules the less I'm inclined to do that. I'll probably make my own home-grown rules and slot this into my post apoc world.

This little guy is "The Can." I suppose that really changes the meaning of "needing to use the can" or answering someone with "He is in the can. He will be back in a minute." at 12mm, this mech would probably be close to a 40K dreadnought.

This mech is called "Happy." I suppose that all depends on which end of the missile pods you are standing on. I think the idea of having a nice day is tongue-in-cheek.

So, I've been building terrain and a gaming board for this particular little venture as well. It has been interesting to work in a smaller scale, but I like building the mechs because they are a bit more like detailed terrain items than people. Most of the building elements are bits of sprue, beads, wire, and some green stuff for good measure.

Wow!  “Happy” could work for 15mm also.
