Anyone else having login issues with Firefox on some sites?

Cleared out my cache earlier today and now I can't login to Bartertown, Oldhammer and Frothers using Firefox, but no such issues while using Chrome. Anyone else experiencing this issue and is there a solution? Troubleshooting articles are useless...

It appears to be a phpBB and Firefox issue:

You have specified an incorrect username. Please check your username and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator.

I regularly use FF, Chrome and Edge as there are invariably sites and apps which work properly in one and not another. The exact mix depends on the relative patch cycles of the content authors and browser manufacturers.
