(Commercial) Crooked Dice: Fishfolk preview
« on: July 13, 2019, 11:06:25 AM »
Coming soon... Next month will see some sinister pulp releases hitting the web-store. There will be four new packs in August all with an aquatic theme. Here's a preview of the first set - the wonderful Fishfolk. Sculpted by Iain Colwell and painted for display by Simon Bradley.

As i am cleaning up my paintdesk now to start on finally painting up all my Deep Ones/Hybrids, just recently having looked them all over have to say these are some of the nicest looking Hybrids I have had the pleasure to see. Very nice sculpts indeed. Really captures the faces the way I imagined them. Love yhe webbed toes on the high priest. The only thing i would have changed is his headgear which should have been one of the weird gold tiaras, but it is a minnor quibble. Will just paint it gold anyway. Incredibly nice additions to the EOD and look forward adding them to my horde of Dagonites.
We haul ours to kick theirs.

Thank you! The opportunity to do a sea-shell crown doesn’t come along very often :) I loved what Iain has done with these and really eager to do some more later this year.

I don't have any of those to hand, but you should get a sense of scale from the 25mm slottabase. The whole CD range is 28mm to eye.

Nope. There is a Deep One, Dagon Idol and a Sunken Cthulhu.

BTW, uti, just a quick mention that you might want to add the 'Pulp' tag to the Time-Lost Heroes set in the CD store. ;)

Another lament over the loss of the Crooked Dice forum, I do not venture often above the InterWar sub forum and for some reason Facebook does not believe my name is ultravanillasmurf however I break it up.

Nice figures, on my list for Colours.
