A 10mm SYW Maurice campaign
« on: July 18, 2019, 08:55:20 AM »
Having put on a couple of Maurice games down the club I was asked if I would expand it into a campaign. Unfortunately my armies were a little short on figures to provide a plausible mix of troops, so I have instead begun to expand the armies. The first of these is the Prussian 5th Hussars. I consulted a number of sources (Kronoscaf, Funken, Greenwood and Ball) all of which varied, so I took the pragmatic approach to not put too much detail on small figures.

If itís too hard, I canít do it

They have as much detail as needed to look perfect when someone is standing up in front of the gaming table.
I love 10mm!

Good looking miniatures, i'm also interested in your thoughts on Maurice's campaign system (is called Successioen War for what i can remember). At my local club we have a few SYW 10mm armies too and i'd like to run a campaign as well.

Once we get underway I will start recording progress. The likely start is the autumn, with me needing to produce a few more units to start with.
