Galactic Heroes - Endor Battle
« on: July 21, 2019, 12:29:30 PM »
We had a four way game of Galactic heroes, me, my brother (Andym), my son and my daughter’s boyfriend.
The mission was set on a forest moon in a galaxy far, far, away.
A group of Rebel commandos have managed to seal some fuel required for an A wing Starfighter stranded on the moon.

The rebel commandos (commanded by my son) have had to land in their Y wing transport at a clearing nearby and then transport the fuel through the forest to the hidden landing pad using their transport sled.

The alliance navy are waiting at their landing pad (Commanded by me)
They have a weapons sled in support

The empire want their fuel back and have employed a group bounty hunters (Commanded by my Daughters Boyfriend) to find the fuel, they have found the landing pad and called in some imperial support.

Storm troopers are going to attack the Landing pad (They are commanded by my brother, Andym)

Will have some more photos later

That's a cracking set up.

Andy has a good record with stormtroopers so I'd not fancy taking him on.

Above is a photo of the board

The Alliance navy are protecting the stranded A wing in the bottom left

the rebel commandos come on to the board at the top right. The commandos have a grav-sled to carry the fuel.

the stormtroopers come on top left

the bounty hunters come on the bottom right.
Each team is made up of a leader, a specialist and four regular troops, most of the figures are armed with blaster rifles bit the leaders have blaster pistols, the specialist in each team has a heavy blaster, I didn't have a suitable figure for a specialist for the Navy so instead they have an R2 droid piloting a support weapon grav-sled

That is just freaking cool. Love the board, the mission, and most of all the ability to find three other people to play with!

The bounty hunters sneaking onto the board

The rebel commandos charge onto the table running towards the landing pad with their unarmed sled leading the way???

The bounty hunters try to sneak around the back of the landing pad but were intercepted by the navy captain, who spent the whole game, heavily wounded, defending this route to the landing pad

The stormtrooper attack was not going so well their white camo working well!!!

The main bounty hunter attack lead from the back by Boba fett, gets stopped dead by a navy trooper and a technician :D

Commandos still moving through the forest

Stormtroopers pick themself up and try to move forward

Another bounty hunter trying the backdoor

The navy advance on the remaining bounty hunters
The navy had lost their R2 unit and the support sled
The rebel commandos, after some technical issues with their sled, managed to reach the landing pad to finish the game, with a win
