Norman Force

A small army of Normans ready for battle!  They’re going to see the field as Gondorians as well, hence the limited black and white shield design.  The infantry is from Crusader Miniatures, the cavalry is Gripping Beast and the Dux in the middle is from EBob Miniatures (it’s not on the website, he sent it when an order was delayed). 







I am waiting for 8 more figures from EBob and that will be all the armored infantry completed!

Beautifully done! I always think Crusader are one of the most under-rated manufacturers out there. I love them and you've done 'em justice with the brushwork.

Really like them. I agree with Carlos - in all the talk of the upcoming Normans from Victrix and Gripping Beast, it's easy to forget that Crusader have been quietly providing really nice Normans for ages with great subtly realistic poses. Crusader always seem to slip under the radar as a solid 8/10 company.

Agreed. My Norman army is about 99% Crusader. They are lovely sculpts and paint up brilliantly.

(Mind, it was bought quite a few years back when Mark Simms still ran his Crusader Yahoo Group!)
