I wanted to practice rust effects, this is the result:

I'll probably add a shrub to the base at some point, but this will do for now :)

I think that pretty well does the trick. Love the green stuff growing out of the cab. I might have been tempted to leave the truck bed empty as a location for some cover.

Rust looks great to me. Rusting red paint isn't the easiest thing to bring out.

Nice truck, sir.
If a little worse for wear.

One careful owner Sir. It's nothing that a bit of filler and paint can't resolve  lol

My next post apocalypse faction is The Borrowers, a scavenger crew. I'm giving this crew a very British feel.

The Borrowers are led by the enigmatic John Tweed. As the leader of this crew, he gets the best kit that they 'borrow' (in this case a SA80 assault rifle and a katana.

Shown here with Mr Tweed are Hawkeye and Mac, providing ranged firepower. Hawkeye has survived many encounters, for which he lost an eye and walks with a pronounced limp. Nonetheless, he is a reliable ranged combat specialist, providing cover with his SA80 (for as long as he has ammunition to fire). Mac is a deft hand with his trusted crossbow, backed up with an axe for when things get up close and personal.

All figures are conversions of the old Copplestone Future Wars range (now available from EM-4 / Moonraker Miniatures) http://moonrakerminiatures.com/future.htm

The SA80s are from Hasslefree.

Brilliant!
Great figure choices, lovely conversions topped off with a quality bit of colouring-in and basing.

Looking good Dave.
