We're releasing new figures for the official Rangers of Shadow Deep miniatures range next week.

I still wish from the very cockles of my black heart that the Frostgrave cultists had come with robes and hoods like those skeletons are wearing. That is the quintessential "evil cult robes" look to me!

We couldn't make them like that in plastic.

There were technical difficulties making figures in full robes we couldn't get over, other than making 2 part models. If we were to go back to remake them now it might be different.

But as the Cultists are still the 2nd most popular plastic box set we've made, I'm not in a rush to remake them.

Oh, I like the current plastic cultists just fine. But in my mind, the simple monks' robe (but in a sinister color) look is the archetypal cultist look - a plastic version is just a miniatures holy grail of mine.

The center wraith/grave knight is particularly awesome

But the ranger in the top right: I think I've just finally found my Aragorn miniature!!

+++EDIT+++ Same thing as beefcake stated; I already made my Gaslands pre-order. Would I be able to add a couple of these Shadow Deep packs to that shipment? I don't mind the wait...
