has.been I post updates on the rules (including Starfighters!) on the Facebook page, Wiley Games blog as well as the Baron's Blog. The Core rules work just as well for WW2.

Excellent enjoyable report. Great to see FFoL as other have said being used for WW2. :)

Thanks Baron. Lots of wonderful stuff on your blog.
Lots of teasing too.  What is the regrouping rule, when do we
get sight of the Big battles FFofL & the Spaceship ones too.

And how nice to see a game involving the resistance! Well done and well told!

Great battle report - I really enjoyed it.  Looks like that game was a lot of fun.

The core rules or Galatic Heroes (as suggested by agentbalzac) for WWII ?

Imitation, as they say, is the sincerest form of flattery...
so I'm going to shamelessly nick yer scenario, swapping the Marquis for Commandos, and lighting a fire in the belly of the enemy!

The only difference between Core rules and GH is GH was written first and has more Sci-Fi-y things like more fantastical traits and weapons and things like psionics and monsters. Armor is also slightly different in GH. All future supplements (like Tales of Horror and Wasteland Warriors) were/are based on Core.
