Rich H. Kindly made some wheels and simplified wheel arches for me.He sent me a number of mis prints of wheel arches So rather than see hard work go to waste. I've repurposed and re worked them into this first musing.( the ones in the pictures are mis prints.)
It's not perfect it still needs showing who's boss as there's a few school boy errors.( partly becaus I've been working from a tray in the living room in bad light. But mainly because I'm an idiot.)
Mark.

Oh, I really like that, can we have some BEF to go with it, please?

More loveliness, given that it has the possibility of an open top, will the windows/windscreen be open (so you can see inside)?

I'm glad you like the concept I've gone back and tweaked the windscreen. It wasn't supposed to be a production master just a musing using mis prints to iorn out any issues before making more.
But since you like it I'll see if Simon will cast it(I'll have to back fill void etc first.) So I've knocked up a driver and the lights and front bumper. I'll find some time to knock up at least one other character for the back seat .I know one member has sent a pic of themselves propped up against something similar. So it seems rude not to prop them against this.
As for removing the windows.the rear passenger doors are a doddle. The front windows and windscreen are a little more time consuming but possible.(if you start with the windscreen. Then do the side windows. As the inside is a vertical.(and the exterior of the windscreen is on a diagonal.
So there's a right angle triangle of material to remove.Which is easier to tackle from the windscreen then the side windows.

With everyone asking about removing windows to see the interior.
I thought I might as well make it worth while. So tonight I've  made an Officer as a passenger and a set of seat filler .( tin hat, gas mask .and a .303 ).
So that's pretty much it for this one.
Next is a taxi.

It would be good if the set of seat filler (tin hat, gas mask and a .303 ) were available separately as they have a hundred and one uses.

What about having the windscreen open as well? I always found that was a useful feature on my 1946 Morris 8 when there was fog or smog about and it is a very distinctive "look" on cars of this era.
