Knights of Dice Chinatown and Pulp Figures
« on: August 09, 2019, 03:13:59 PM »
I'm starting to paint my first MDF building, TT Combat's Dino Gas Filling Station.
Most of my figures are Bob Murch's Pulp Figures (I have about 50 painted), and when I put them at the Dino Gas, the building is huge. The gas pumps tower over the figures, and the doors are big enough to drive a car through. It's a great piece of terrain, and I can suspend my disbelief to play with it, but it doesn't "feel" like it was built for 28mm, more like 40mm.

That said, I want to start collecting Knights of Dice Chinatown, but I'm worried that the buildings will feel huge, like Dino Gas, because they're designed for use with Batman figures, which are 35mm.

Does anyone have any pictures of KoD buildings with Pulp Figures?

TT tends to make their buildings for heroic 28 and 32mm figures, like GW and Batman Miniatures game.  I haven't gotten any KoD buildings yet.

Here are some "action" shots of KoD buildings!

So far I like all of the buildings that I have bought.
I find they blend in well, and have some nice details to them.
The white and red building does have a large entrance, but it is supposed to look that way and I think it worked well.

KoD buildings are bigger than other manufacturers, but they should be because they are represenative buildings in a city. I think they look good with 28mm Figures. I have no photos with Pulp Figures but some other:
