Finally, a year after recieving my kickstarter, i finished some models. These are my Lannister Guardsmen, with 3 guard captains (one painted as being a minor Farman noble).

Actually a joy to paint. Next project is The Mountain's Men, looking forward to paint something other than red and gold :-)

Off to a good start! And nice touch with the House Farman captain too! Did he need any converting or is the bare-headed captain a variant of the Lannister captain? Looking forward to your Mountain's Men!

Great job, not a fan of the sculpts themselves, but some really consistent paint jobs

Thank You! It is a kickstarter exclusive sculpt, no head swap needed for this guy, generally i think this unit looks uniform enough that no headswaps were needed.

And thank you for the nice comment :-)

I will reach them at some point! Yes, it is nice clean sculpts, these lannisters got a bit boring, because i painted such a large batch! It was a joy to switch from red to yellow as seen below!

And now: The Mountain's Men!
Great sculpts, but to much repetition in the 3 types of models. I did some headswaps, and i think the results are quite nice! It really does a lot for the unit. A lot of nice differences come to life!

Next up: Ser Gregor Clegane himself! On horse and on foot!

Nice touch with the headswaps! Are those GW Marauder Horsemen lurking around in there? I didn't realise the scale was the same!

Yes, almost all are GW marauder, horsemen, or whatever they are called these days, and a single Frostgrave Zombie head, that looked the right size. All newer GW heads fits, because GWs 28 mm scale is heroic, which means bigger heads and hands, so both fits perfectly with the 32 mm CMON models. Its ripe for conversions! I actually had plans doing weapon conversions as well, to show the different guys in the group (like The Tickler who uses short sword and dagger) but decided against it, because finding the information in the books would be to much of a hassle :-) Generally i think CMON really should have more weapon variety in their units, since it is not necceseray in their rules, and it would look cooler :-)

I like that they gave Tywin his muttonchops!

Silly question but are the bases for the High Sparrow/Pycelle/Non-Combat-Tyrion custom sculpts, or do they come like that? It's a nice touch with the floor slabs and such!

Not silly at all! It is custom made bases. I think that the non-combat units should stay in the Red Keep, and I like these floor tiles. They are made with a Greenstuffworld roller. This one to be precise: http://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/textured-rolling-pins/614-rolling-pin-hobby-roller-ancestral-recall.html?search_query=rolling+pin+&results=83

Took some practice, but i really like the result!
