Border Reivers at Legendary Wargames
« on: August 14, 2019, 09:44:52 PM »
I was invited on Friday to play in a Border Reiver Campaign at the new wargames lodge of Legendary Wargames. Great day out, the write up and pictures on the blog for those interested.

What great fun.  Looks like it could make a decent campaign game.  I saw that someone was playing an Elliot; would that be Little Scot ? ( "My name is Little Scot Elliot, and wha daur meddle wi' me!,")

Hi Metternich

I was the Elliots, we were not given first names but Little Scot would have been my first choice after the PF Chisholm novels.

Not to mention his fight with Bothwell, where despite himself having been wounded Little Scot managed to wound Bothwell most severely.  Wha daur meddle wi me, indeed as the Border Ballad refrain goes.
